The Airport District wraps around Hollywood Burbank Airport on the north side of Burbank, mixing modest residential streets with the airport, light-industrial blocks and the big-box stores of the Empire Center. It feels more practical and less polished than the Northwest District across Victory Boulevard. Homes in the Airport District are mostly small single-story houses from the postwar decades, alongside apartments and condos near the main boulevards.
