Campus Oaks is a newer north-Roseville neighborhood that takes its name and its character from the employment campuses off Foothills Boulevard, with the large tech and business sites just to the east. That proximity is the selling point: it is one of the shorter commutes in the city for anyone working the Foothills corridor, and you can watch the new rooftops fill in the space between the housing and the jobs. The homes are recent construction on efficient lots, built with the current planned-community amenities of pocket parks and trail links. Shopping along Pleasant Grove and Blue Oaks handles daily needs, and Highway 65 is close enough to make trips south simple. The streetscape is young, so shade is still a few seasons out. Campus Oaks trades a little of the pure-residential calm of the interior west side for its jobs-adjacency and access, and for a lot of buyers that is exactly the right trade. It is new, well-placed, and about as close to the north-Roseville employment base as housing gets.
