Greenbriar is one of the newest planned communities at the far northern edge of North Natomas, out past the established Natomas neighborhoods toward the airport and Metro Air Park. It is a recent build, so the housing is contemporary single-family and townhomes on fresh streets with the planned parks, paths, and infrastructure that come with a new master plan. The location is all about the freeways and the airport: I-5 is close, downtown is a straight shot south, and the airport is minutes away. The tradeoffs are the ones that come with a brand-new edge neighborhood: limited mature shade against Natomas summers, amenities and retail still filling in, and a car-oriented layout. For buyers who want a new home with new everything at the northern frontier of the city, Greenbriar is among the latest options.
