Neighborhood Reviews & Questions

Neighborhood Review
Key Words: Walk-to-park convenience, Established suburban character, Foothill vistas

Tucked along the gentle lower foothills east of Vasona Lake, Kennedy North is a mature residential pocket of Los Gatos with leafy, winding lanes and a varied mix of 1960s ranch houses and updated custom builds on comfortable lots. Terrain rises slightly toward the south and east, giving many backyards a filtered view of the surrounding oak-dotted hills while still keeping sidewalks mostly level and walkable. Within the boundary sit two well-regarded public campuses, Blossom Hill Elementary and Fisher Middle, plus neighborhood green space at Blossom Hill Park with tennis courts, open fields, and play structures. The western edge touches Oak Meadow Park and Vasona Lake County Park, offering quick access to lakeside trails, picnic sites, and summer concerts. Retail is limited inside the neighborhood, but downtown Los Gatos cafés and the supermarket corridor along Los Gatos Boulevard are just a short drive or bike ride away. Residents prize a quiet, established feel, strong school walkability, and ready access to some of the region’s best recreation. Highway 17 noise can be noticeable on the far west side, and peak school traffic backs up near campus driveways, yet overall the area appeals to buyers seeking classic suburban living with trailheads and town amenities close at hand.
