Set near the 35th Avenue corridor in south Sacramento, not far from the Executive Airport, the neighborhood is largely postwar single-family on regular lots, affordable and practical, with the park and its recreation facilities giving it a genuine internal anchor most modest pockets lack. The everyday runs to the arterials. Errands point toward the Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Freeport corridors, and Highway 99 and the light rail are within reach when it is time to leave the neighborhood for downtown or beyond. The honest notes come with the territory. Light aircraft pass over from the nearby airport, the arterials carry real traffic, and upkeep varies from one block to the next. None of it undoes the basic value on offer: a freestanding home with a yard and a real neighborhood park at an attainable south-city price.
