Market Side is a newer west-Roseville neighborhood named for its proximity to the retail that has grown up along the Pleasant Grove and Blue Oaks corridor. That location is the point: it is one of the west-side communities where a grocery run or a coffee stop is genuinely close rather than a project, which is not something every neighborhood out here can say. The housing is recent and planned, on tidy blocks with the usual park and trail connections. Being near the commercial pads means a little more activity and traffic on the neighborhood's edges, and homes backing the busier roads trade some quiet for the convenience of walking or making a two-minute drive to shopping. For the west side, Market Side threads a nice line: new construction and planned green space, but with everyday retail closer than most of its neighbors manage. If the far-west quiet appeals but the far-west drive to a store does not, this is the pocket that splits the difference.
