Old Town–Hurricane Gulch is the historic heart of Sausalito, hugging the steep hillsides just south of downtown. This is where Sausalito began, and the neighborhood still carries much of its early charm—with narrow, winding streets, vintage cottages, and tucked-away staircases winding up the hillsides.
