Neighborhood Reviews & Questions

Neighborhood Review
Key Words: Mahany Park, Library Access, Established Planned

Pleasant Grove takes its name from the boulevard that runs the length of Roseville's north side, and the neighborhood grew along it as one of the connective pieces between the older city and the newer west. The housing is a mix of 1990s through 2000s single-family, on a grid that is easy to read and quick to get out of onto the main roads. The boulevard is both the asset and the caveat. Pleasant Grove Boulevard puts shopping, schools, and the trail crossings within easy reach and makes commuting straightforward, but homes near it carry the arterial's traffic and noise. Step a block or two off the main line and the neighborhood settles into quiet residential streets with the usual west-side park spacing. It is a practical, well-located neighborhood rather than a showcase one. For buyers who want to be near the everyday infrastructure of north Roseville, with reasonable freeway reach and mature-enough streets, Pleasant Grove earns its spot.
