East of the Wildhawk rooftops, Vineyard opens up into the semi-rural country that gave the whole CDP its rural-and-suburban split personality. This is the largest and least built-out stretch of the community, running toward Grant Line Road on the county's edge, where full-acre parcels, horse setups, and older ranch houses sit between newer infill. Space and privacy are the whole point out here. Lots are big enough to keep animals or a shop, the streets are quiet, and the flat ground makes for long open sightlines that the tract pockets to the west do not have. Sheldon High serves this side of the community, and the Gerber and Bradshaw corridors carry you to everyday shopping. The catch is that services are genuinely far, public parks thin out once you leave the subdivisions, and this is exactly the land the Florin-Vineyard plan is targeting for thousands of new homes, so the rural feel is not guaranteed to last. For now, it is where you come in this part of the county if you want acreage over sidewalks.
