Neighborhood Reviews & Questions

Neighborhood Review
Key Words: Gated Enclave, Marina Adjacent, Planned Community

This entry, listed as Bay Harbou, appears to be a misspelled duplicate of Bay Harbour, the guard-gated waterfront community on the inland side of the Long Beach Marina just west of Pacific Coast Highway. It is the same enclave of roughly 200 planned homes from the 1980s, built around private streets, greenbelts, and shared pools and tennis courts, with the bay and the marina docks close at hand. Residents trade a conventional yard and public street for security, water proximity, and a managed, resort-style setting, with the dining and shopping of Second Street and Marina Pacifica a short drive across PCH. The boundary Houseberry has drawn for this particular entry is oversized and likely imprecise, so treat the specific edges with caution; the community itself is the compact, gated Bay Harbour neighborhood by the marina.
