Martial Cottle Park, a short drive north at Branham Lane and Snell Avenue, preserves a family farm that goes back generations as a county and state park, with trails looping around fields that are still planted. To the south, the Santa Teresa foothills give the neighborhood its backdrop and a place to hike. Getting around is easy by south-valley standards. VTA light rail stops at the Blossom Hill and Snell stations, and Highways 85 and 87 are both close.
