Edenvale Great Oaks is the working seam between Edenvale's residential blocks and the Great Oaks Boulevard business park, and it is honest about being both. These are flat valley-floor tracts with an elementary school at hand, sitting close to the large employers and light-industrial buildings that give this part of south San Jose its daytime population. US-101 and Monterey Road frame it, so getting onto the freeway or up the valley is easy, and Coyote Creek and its trail run nearby to the east for a little green relief. What it is not is a quiet, tucked-away enclave: the business-park and freeway edges shape the streetscape, tree canopy thins toward the commercial frontage, and there is no rail here.
