Euer Ranch is part of the newer southern build-out of El Dorado Hills, a development area drawn up under the Central El Dorado Hills plan on ground below the Serrano ridge. It borders Saratoga Estates, Valley View, and Carson Creek, and shares their recent-construction character: current floor plans, clean stucco, and streets that were open field not long ago. The appeal is newness and position. It sits within quick reach of Highway 50 and the shopping that has grown up along the southern corridors, and the homes carry the low-maintenance feel of anything built in the last several years. The heavy amenities belong to the master plans around it more than to Euer Ranch itself. The tradeoff is maturity. The canopy is young and thin, and this southern flank does not have the settled, grown-in look of the original villages to the north. What you get for that is a newer home in a still-filling stretch of El Dorado Hills, with easy freeway access as a genuine plus.
