Oeste Manor is a West Davis residential pocket whose name traces back to Oeste Drive, itself named for Jacob Oeste, who farmed the West Plainfield land out this way. It is an older, settled part of West Davis with a noticeable share of duplexes alongside single-family homes. The character is quiet and unflashy. The greenbelt and bike network connect it through the west side, the Westlake shopping center covers groceries, and the Russell Boulevard route handles the campus commute. Lots and trees have had decades to mature. The standard West Davis tradeoff applies: you are on the far residential side of town, so downtown is a ride. The duplex stock also makes this a more mixed owner-and-rental street than the pricier West Davis enclaves.
