Neighborhood Review

Key Words:

Creekside Trail Living, Tidy Streetscape, Almaden Suburban Classic

Nestled along the Los Alamitos Creek Trail in the heart of Almaden Valley, the Orangebrick Way area delivers one of San Jose’s strongest combinations of natural access and neighborhood polish. Its layout follows the contours of the creek, giving many homes direct access to paved bike and walking paths, and putting Pfeiffer Park and Greystone Park within walking distance for nearly every resident. The housing stock here consists of well-kept single-family homes from the 1970s and 1980s, with wide lots, mature landscaping, and some decorative flourishes that set it slightly apart from newer tract-style developments. Streets are curving and quiet, and nearly every corner has sidewalks and trees that contribute to a tidy and cohesive look. Though not flashy, the homes and streets maintain a high standard of upkeep. This neighborhood stands out for its outdoor lifestyle. Between the trail, green space, and proximity to Leland High School’s sports fields, it's ideal for active residents. While retail is minimal within the borders, Safeway, Almaden Branch Library, and local eateries are just down Camden Avenue, making the area feel self-contained without being isolated.
