Rancho Yolo is a senior mobile-home community in East Davis, south of the Davis Cemetery off Pole Line Road, and it is unlike any other neighborhood on this list. It is an age-restricted, 55-and-over park, originally laid out with a quirky set of circular streets, Inner Circle, Outer Circle, Broken Circle, that still partly survive. The appeal is affordability and a self-contained community feel within easy reach of East Davis schools-area retail, the Pole Line shops, and the greenbelt. It is quiet by design and built at a walkable, low-speed scale. The honest notes are structural: this is manufactured housing in an age-restricted park, so it is a specific lifestyle and a specific ownership situation, not a standard single-family street. For the right resident, the low-key, low-cost setup is exactly the point.
