Neighborhood Reviews & Questions

Neighborhood Review
Key Words: Ridge Lots, Multiple Parks, Vintage Homes

Ridgeview Village runs along the western side of El Dorado Hills, an established neighborhood off El Dorado Hills Boulevard that predates much of the gated hillside development to its east. The ground rolls enough that several of its parks and lots look west, catching Folsom and the Sacramento Valley beyond. Public space is a real strength here. Ridgeview Park, the Unit 7 park with its valley overlook, and Parkview Heights Park with its horseshoe pits give the neighborhood more green anchors than most, and the boulevard puts shopping and the Town Center within easy reach. The homes are settled tract stock with grown-in landscaping. The tradeoffs are age and the arterial. This is older housing, so condition varies lot to lot, and the western edge along El Dorado Hills Boulevard carries steady traffic. What Ridgeview offers is a mature, park-rich, view-touched slice of the town's west side, established long before the gates went up and priced more within reach than the hillside enclaves.
