Neighborhood Reviews & Questions

Neighborhood Review
Key Words: Semi-Rural Edge, Open Space, Larger Lots

This small pocket sits on Rocklin's eastern edge, tucked beyond the Sierra College campus toward the Placer County countryside that separates the city from Loomis and Penryn. It is one of the quieter corners of Rocklin, set apart from the master-planned grids and closer to the oak-and-grassland transition where the suburb thins out into open ground. Its position past the college puts it nearer that rural edge than to Rocklin's shopping, so Sierra College Boulevard is the closest anchor and errands mean a drive west across town. What the distance buys is calm and separation from the busy Sunset and Stanford Ranch corridors that carry most of the city's traffic. There is little marquee to point to here, which fits a small, out-of-the-way eastern pocket.
