Saratoga Estates sits at the southwest corner of El Dorado Hills, a planned gated community by Elliott Homes pressed up against the Folsom line and Highway 50. Built in the 2020s across roughly 120 acres, it is among the newest gated addresses in town, with lot sizes that range from compact to generous and two community parks written into the plan. The appeal is new construction behind a gate with quick freeway access, and its western position puts Folsom's shopping and the El Dorado Hills corridors both within a short drive. The homes are current in every sense: efficient, clean, and low-maintenance. The tradeoffs are the freeway edge and the youth of the place. Sitting against Highway 50 means the corridor is close, for better on commuting and worse on quiet, and the young landscaping has not filled in yet. What Saratoga Estates offers is a brand-new gated home at the Folsom gateway to El Dorado Hills, with its own parks and easy access as the selling points.
