Valley View covers a broad stretch of southern El Dorado Hills below Highway 50, and for most buyers it means Blackstone, the master-planned community built across it over the past decade or so. Homes wrap around preserved oak groves and the Clubhouse at Blackstone, a large residents' center with pools and gathering space along Blackstone Parkway. The public side is strong for a newer area. Valley View Sports Park brings fields and a nature trail, Valley View Charter Montessori sits right in the neighborhood, and the whole plan was laid out with walking paths and parks rather than tacked-on later. Construction is recent, so upkeep is easy and consistent. The tradeoff is the usual one for new south-side growth: the tree canopy is still young, and the setting is more open and planned than the wooded hillside enclaves up north. What Valley View offers is a clean, amenity-rich master plan with its own clubhouse and sports park, on the newer and more reachable end of the El Dorado Hills spectrum.
