Veranda is one of the newer residential developments on the east side of Davis, in the band of recent construction around the Mace and Wildhorse corridor. As a more recent build, it brings updated homes and a planned layout to a part of town that had not seen much new housing in years. It runs on East Davis infrastructure: the greenbelt and bike-path network, nearby parks, and a short trip to the Second Street Crossing retail and East Davis schools. The streets are quiet and the construction is current. The honest note is the one common to east-edge Davis, it is car-oriented and a real distance from downtown, and as newer stock it tends to price accordingly. Confirm the exact boundary on a current map, since the newer east-side communities sit close together.
