Bordering the eastern edge of San Jose, the Aborn–Quimby neighborhood offers a quiet, semi-rural lifestyle with an unmatched connection to nature. This part of Evergreen sits at the gateway to Grant Ranch and the Diablo Range, making it a prime choice for those who value open space and views over proximity to retail or nightlife. Homes here are mostly single-family, spread across wide residential streets with a backdrop of rolling hills. Some properties feature large lots and even gated driveways, particularly closer to the rural fringe. While development is thinner than in more central Evergreen neighborhoods, the low density and peaceful vibe are exactly what appeal to many residents. Outdoor recreation is the defining characteristic of this area. With trailheads leading into Joseph D. Grant County Park and the eastern foothills practically in your backyard, hiking, biking, and scenic drives are part of daily life.
