The Sunset Drive area occupies the unglamorous middle of Antioch, an established stretch of mid-century homes sitting between the city's older north end and its newer southern subdivisions. Belshaw Elementary serves the neighborhood, and the location splits the difference on everything: downtown Rivertown is a short drive north, the Lone Tree Way retail is a short drive south, and Highway 4 is reachable in minutes either way. The housing is compact single-story stock from Antioch's postwar rings, the kind of inventory that draws buyers priced out of the newer south side and renovators hunting simple bones. Lots are workable and the floor plans are easy to open up. This area asks for realistic expectations. Some blocks are well kept, others are tired, and the mix can flip street to street. Tour widely, because the same floor plan shows up here in very different condition, and in this part of Antioch the block you choose matters more than the house itself.
