Crestwood is one of the more down-to-earth pockets of west Gilroy, a grid of established residential streets tucked against Santa Teresa Boulevard on its south and west edges, with Ramona Way closing it off to the north. The homes here are practical rather than showy, and prices tend to run lower than the newer hillside tracts a few minutes south and west. Daily life leans on Santa Teresa Boulevard, which carries most of the through traffic and connects you quickly to the rest of the city. Errands mean a short drive rather than a walk, but the trade is a quieter interior where the streets aren't cut through by people heading somewhere else. What Crestwood gives up in flash it makes back in value. If you want a foothold on Gilroy's west side without paying west-side-premium prices, this is usually where that conversation starts. Just know going in that the boulevard frontage is busy, and the interior is the part you're actually buying.
