Harvest Park sits at the northern edge of Gilroy, a newer residential tract bounded by Day Road up top and Kern Avenue at the bottom, with Farrell Avenue and Woodcreek Way framing the sides. The homes are part of the wave of single-family subdivisions that filled in north Gilroy, so the streetscape is clean and consistent in a way the older central neighborhoods aren't. The flip side of being on the edge is that everyday amenities aren't close. This is a drive-to-everything part of town, with shops, schools, and services clustered elsewhere and Highway 101 the main artery once you're out of the subdivision. Inside, though, the streets are calm and the layout is the predictable, tidy grid of a planned build. Harvest Park's pitch is straightforward: newer construction at a price below the west-side hills, on the quiet end of the city. You trade walkability and a central location for a more affordable, lower-key foothold in Gilroy.
