In Vacaville, Foxboro is the part of town where the parks are the landmarks. Arlington Park sits at Foxboro Parkway and Peabody Road, Al Patch Park has softball fields, a football field and an all-purpose track, and Pheasant Country Park, Madison Park and Cannon Station Park fill in the gaps. Cannon Station, where Nut Tree Drive meets Opal Drive, is mostly open grass with a tennis court, a quick loop for anyone with a leashed dog. The houses are suburban single-family homes, mostly from the 1980s and 1990s, on streets that end in quiet cul-de-sacs. A bike route links Al Patch Park to the Alamo Creek path, a shaded 4.4-mile ribbon where beavers have been spotted along the water. Follow it and you pass Nelson, Patwin and Beelard parks, and the same bikeway system reaches downtown, so a ride can start on a cul-de-sac and end at a downtown cafe. Dutch Bros handles coffee inside the area. For a sit-down meal you head out along Alamo Drive to Hisui 2 for sushi or Peace Love & Boba, or to Villa Corona and Starbread Bakery in the Southwood pocket. Casual options in the neighboring pockets include Mountain Mike's Pizza, Tugboat Fish & Chips and a Baskin-Robbins, all a few minutes away by car. Blue Lagoon Brewing, a small taproom that opened in early 2026 on Peabody Road, is a short drive toward Fairmont and pours beers named for Peña Adobe and Lagoon Valley. Raley's and Lucky Supermarkets both sit just over the line in neighboring pockets, so grocery runs mean a short hop in the car. Nothing here is built around walking to dinner, and the closest food leans toward pizza chains and fast food. With no downtown or mall to pull traffic through, Foxboro stays residential at every hour.
