North Vallejo covers the northern stretch of the city, the blocks that run up toward the edge of town and the Highway 37 corridor. It is a practical, commuter-leaning part of Vallejo, with Dan Mini Elementary serving the area and the North Vallejo Community Center and Setterquist Park giving it some everyday gathering space. Vallejo's Lake Chabot sits in the broader area for fishing and open water. This is one of the more affordable and more overlooked corners of the city, and the honest version is that it is also one of the harder-worn. Upkeep is uneven, the amenities you can walk to are thin, and most errands mean driving to a corridor. What you get in exchange is space, easy highway access for getting out of town, and prices that sit below much of the rest of Vallejo. It is straightforward, no-frills northern Vallejo.
