The Auberge Resorts property opened in 2022, and the Vineyard Homes and Villas attached to it sell as turnkey second homes with resort service built in, at prices that put this among the priciest pockets in the city. The pitch is owning a piece of working wine country with a luxury resort as your backyard: the Bear restaurant and its farm, the Halehouse spa and wellness program, and vineyard views without the upkeep. It's polished, brand-new, and unlike anything else in Napa's housing landscape. The honest part is what it isn't. This is a Carneros resort enclave, not a connected neighborhood, so there's no walkable town, schools, or everyday services nearby, and the buyer pool skews heavily toward second homes rather than full-time residents. The Carneros location is breezy and a real drive from downtown. For buyers who want a low-maintenance luxury vineyard retreat, that's exactly the point.
