Twelve Bridges is a master-planned part of Lincoln, California, set against the Rocklin line, and its center is the commercial strip along Twelve Bridges Drive. Subdivisions spread out from there, with Verdera and Sun City Lincoln Hills as neighbors. The houses are mostly newer single-family homes in stucco and tile, with a lot of two-story plans and a few larger lots that back onto green space. Each phase has its own look, but within a phase the architecture stays consistent. Coyote Pond Park and Wilson Park are the neighborhood's own parks. Just over the city line, the Rocklin parks, including Boulder Ridge Park, Brigham & Hawes Park and Whitney Park, are close enough to use as well. Catta Verdera Country Club sits at the edge for golfers who belong. The strip along Twelve Bridges Drive has the places people talk about. Leatherby's Family Creamery serves ice cream and sandwiches in a retro dining room, Omakase Por Favor mixes coastal Mexican flavors with Japanese omakase and books up, and Sourdough & Co. Does a deli lunch. Rustic Mule is a cheese shop, and Starbucks handles the morning rush. For a dinner with more of a local stamp, many people drive into old town Lincoln. The Lincoln Public Library sits on the same strip, which makes it an easy stop between errands. Groceries mean a quick drive to Sterling Parkway or across the line in Rocklin. Highway 65 connects to Roseville and Sacramento, with Rocklin's shopping minutes in the other direction. Everything is by car. Shopping is concentrated in one strip, so a bigger grocery run or a wider choice of restaurants means driving to Sterling Parkway or Rocklin. Leatherby's and the library face the same stretch of Twelve Bridges Drive, and that block is the closest thing the area has to a main street.
