The Parkside-Willow pocket sits in the northern part of Pittsburg, California, toward the river side of town between the Parkside and Willow Cove school areas. It is a residential stretch that has seen some of the stronger price movement in the city lately, a sign of buyers looking northward for relative value. The housing is a typical Pittsburg mix, and the position puts you closer to the waterfront and downtown than the inland southern pockets. The tradeoff worth naming is that prices here have outrun some of what the immediate area offers, and amenities within walking distance are limited, so errands lean on a drive to the larger corridors. The blocks vary, as they do across much of Pittsburg. For buyers drawn to the northern, river-leaning side of town, Parkside-Willow is a pocket on the move, with the understanding that you are partly paying for that momentum.
