Ayers sits in Concord's southeast corner, the kind of pocket people move to when they want quiet and are willing to drive for it. The streets wrap around Ayers Elementary, and the big draw is right next door: Newhall Community Park, 126 acres of disc golf, a fenced dog park, bocce courts, and a duck pond that anchors weekend mornings here. Homes are mostly single-level ranch and split-level stock on real lots, well kept without trying too hard. This is a car-first part of Concord. A gallon of milk or a coffee means a short drive toward Clayton Road or Cowell, and there isn't a walkable retail strip inside the neighborhood. What you trade convenience for is calm. Ayers stays residential and unhurried, with the open hills of Lime Ridge close enough for a trail day. If you want a Concord address that feels tucked away and parks-adjacent rather than shops-adjacent, this is one of the steadier bets on this side of town.
