It sits on the northwest side among siblings like St Andrews, Governors, and Marina Village, and it wears its age well: established streets, grown-in landscaping, and a human scale the newer plans lack. The homes are earlier tract stock rather than custom estates, which keeps prices more grounded than gated Promontory next door, and the position puts everyday shopping and the Town Center within a quick drive. The community's central park and pool are close by along the boulevard. The honest tradeoff is that this is older housing, so upkeep varies lot to lot and some homes will want modernizing. It also hugs El Dorado Hills Boulevard, so the arterial hum is part of the deal. What Crown Village offers is a mature slice of the town's founding layout at a more reachable entry point than the hillside gates.
