Highland View earns its name honestly: built mostly between 1999 and 2005 on the hilliest ground in its corner of El Dorado Hills, it hands many lots long looks toward Folsom Lake and the valley lights. It sits in the northern tier next to Fairchild Village and Green Valley Hills, bordering the Serrano plan to the south. The housing is clean turn-of-the-2000s stock, well kept and consistent, and Murray Homestead Park gives the neighborhood a green anchor of its own. Shopping and the Town Center are a short drive down toward El Dorado Hills Boulevard, and the schools that serve this area are a big reason buyers circle it. The catch is the grade. The same hills that produce the views mean steep driveways and streets that wind, which is not for everyone, and the homes sit close enough together that lots are modest rather than sprawling. What Highland View offers is view lots and a tidy, established feel without stepping into custom-estate prices.
