Neighborhood Reviews & Questions

Neighborhood Review

Pioneer Village is a compact grid off Al Tahoe Boulevard, directly across from the community ballfields and a short hop from Lake Tahoe Community College. Its small size is the identity: a few streets of cabins and ranches with the city's recreation infrastructure essentially across the road. The location also puts the Al Tahoe civic strip, Regan Beach, and the Highway 50 crossings within a short drive, so the errand math works better than the neighborhood's low profile suggests. Nothing about it is flashy, and the market here moves in single listings rather than waves. As a practical central address with field lights for a night-light, it does its one job well.
