Its small size is the identity: a few streets of cabins and ranches with the city's recreation infrastructure essentially across the road. The location also puts the Al Tahoe civic strip, Regan Beach, and the Highway 50 crossings within a short drive, so the errand math works better than the neighborhood's low profile suggests.
