The enclave that carries the name sits off Taylor Road, reached by way of Shawn Way and Tudor Road, with back rows opening onto open space along a seasonal creek. The attached homes run on public sewer with an association handling the grounds, which is genuinely rare in a town that mostly digs septic. Step outside the loop and southeast Loomis reasserts itself with oak-studded acreage east of the Barton Road area. Loomis Grammar School is about a mile up Taylor, Del Oro High under a mile and a half, and Sierra College sits a short drive across the Rocklin line. The catch is the Sierra College Boulevard corner of town: it hauls commuter traffic toward I-80, and the Taylor Road intersection has seen widening work. Two very different price points buy the same scenery here, which is exactly why this pocket trades quickly.
