Summerset Orchards is the fourth and newest phase of Brentwood's original Summerset active-adult community, an age-qualified neighborhood of single-story homes tied into the broader Summerset golf-and-recreation setup. Being a later phase, its homes tend to be a touch newer than the earliest Summerset streets. It shares the parent community's strengths: an 18-hole course, recreation centers, walking paths and a settled, tight-knit active-adult feel, all at a relatively accessible price for the lifestyle. The amenities are largely private to residents, and everyday shopping is a short drive to the central corridors. The honest tradeoffs match the rest of Summerset: HOA dues that fund the golf and rec facilities, and a focus on community life rather than walkable retail. For buyers who want active-adult living in a newer slice of an established golf community, Summerset Orchards offers exactly that.
