The Islands is one of Foster City’s smallest neighborhoods, comprising just a handful of blocks. There are some single family waterfront homes on the western side of the neighborhood, but most of the neighborhood is comprised of condos and townhomes. Education is the cornerstone of The Islands' appeal, being home to Beach Park Elementary School. No matter where you live in the neighborhood - the elementary school is a short walk away. The main draw of this neighborhood is waterfront Catamaran Park - home to a large soccer field a beautiful playground, sports courts of all kinds, and even beach volleyball.
