Neighborhood Reviews & Questions

Neighborhood Review

Black Bart is a small county pocket tucked against the city line, set where the meadows spread and two creeks meet to form Trout Creek. It may have the best setting-to-fame ratio on the south shore. Homes back to meadow and forest rather than to other homes, and Pioneer Trail makes both Heavenly and the state line an easy run. The creeks and meadow do real work beyond the scenery: they keep a green buffer around the streets that the denser city grids gave up decades ago, and the wildlife commutes through accordingly. Meadow frost pools cold air on clear nights, and inventory in a neighborhood this small is scarce by definition. Those are the only catches anyone mentions.
