Lindenwood is an early-2000s neighborhood on Livermore's east side, built out around 2002 to 2004 and aimed squarely at buyers who wanted size. Homes here are large, generally 2,800 to 3,500-plus square feet, with the higher ceilings, open floor plans, and three-car garages that define the era. It is a high-value pocket, and the homes have held that footing. The east-side setting puts vineyards and open space within reach rather than strip retail, which is much of the appeal. You are closer to the rural edge of Livermore, with the wine country and the foothills as the backdrop and a quieter, more spread-out feel than the older central tracts. That edge location is also the catch: this is a drive-everywhere neighborhood, well removed from downtown walkability, and you are paying for newer, larger homes rather than a bargain. For buyers who want space and a vineyard-adjacent setting without going full estate, Lindenwood is a sensible middle ground.
