Geraldine Drive here is believed to honor the wife of Don Marek, the executive who ran Boise Cascade's Incline operation. The neighborhood spreads between roughly 6,800 and 7,400 feet, up where the Jeffrey pines do the talking. Homes are established and lots feel roomy, with the Mountain Course and Upper Tyner for neighbors and a higher share of full-time households than the elevation would suggest. Snow lingers up here, but the grocery run is still under ten minutes. The public record on Jennifer is thinner than on the founders' neighborhoods below the highway, which suits the place. It has always been more lived-in than talked-about. This is the part of Incline for people who wanted a cabin in the woods and ended up with a village attached. The drive to the lake is the price.
